01 — Overview
About this spot
A scenic, steep-climbing loop rising roughly 200 feet up a weathered Cambrian sandstone butte, offering two distinct terrains in one run. The base features hard-pack sandy loam, fine sand pockets, and heavy pine root webs ideal for 1/10 scale trail trucks at walking pace. As you ascend toward the overlook, the trail shifts into technical rock crawling with sandstone ledges, tiered rock shelves, and tight boulder pinch points. stick to established rock surfaces on the trail to protect fragile trailside vegetation.
